One Light Healing Touch (OLHT), an international Energy Healing and Mystery School, opens June 24 in Fishkill, with introductory workshops beginning this month. This training is suited for healthcare practitioners and anyone seeking personal growth and change.

OLHT offers a comprehensive six-month training in 33 esoteric, Shamanic and holistic healing techniques including: Heart, Male/Female, Past-life, White Light, Color, Supreme Being, Distance, and Sacred Initiations. Instructors also cover more than 50 self-healing practices—such as meditation and visualization—which profoundly increase physical and emotional health, creativity, joy, intuition and spiritual awareness. OLHT is featured in the new book, The Encyclopedia of Energy Medicine, by Linnie Thomas.

A series of introductory workshops will be presented March 3 through May 5 in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties. Weekend workshops will be presented April 9-10 at Wainwright House, and April 30-May 1 or May 21-22 in East Fishkill. See or the Natural Awakenings Calendar for details.

OLHT graduates receive a certificate in energy healing, and CEUs are offered for nurses and massage therapists. Ron Lavin, who founded OLHT in 1996, now heads up 16 schools worldwide. Penny Price Lavin is an instructor and Associate Director at OLHT who has been working with energy healing for 25 years. See more about her work and documentary films at
