Reiki Level I Offered at Stern Chiropractic in Mt. Kisco

Anne Bentzen

Reiki, a hands-on healing method that originated in Japan nearly a century ago, is gaining recognition as a complementary medicine modality in hospitals, clinics and hospices. It’s also an integral part of the wellness practice at Stern Chiropractic & Integrative Wellness, P.C. in Mt. Kisco. “Reiki is an effective, supportive healing system that removes energetic blocks,” says Dr. Lawrence Stern. “It assists our practice members in their overall healing and it’s in alignment with our transformative work.”

This month, Reiki Master Anne Bentzen is launching certificate classes at Stern Chiropractic, beginning with Reiki Level One on Sunday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bentzen says she wants to help people learn this simple self-healing method for personal use. “Everyone has the ability to learn Reiki,” she says. “The classes attune students so that they can channel Reiki energy with a loving intention through their hands. The deep relaxation provided by this powerful, subtle energy facilitates healing at the cellular level to relieve stress, pain, anxiety, improve sleep and immunity.” Bentzen says that Reiki provides holistic healing for the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.

Contact Anne Bentzen at 914.588.4079 to register for Reiki 1. Prepayment by March 18 is requested, and the $150 fee includes a manual and certificate. Stern Chiropractic & Integrative Wellness, P.C. is located at 27 Radio Circle Drive, Suite 104, in Mt. Kisco. Visit sternwelnesscenter.com for more information.
