Liberation yoga teachers Adrea Robles and Saskia Shakin are teaming up to present a powerful weekend healing retreat from October 19 to 21, 2012, at the Won Dharma Center in the Catskills. Revitalize and Heal focuses on awakening the healer within everyone and presents yogic, dietary and energetic healing tools for taking charge of one’s own healing process.

Through self-study, group work, and discussion of spiritual anatomy, participants will work to uncover energetic blocks to self-healing and begin the process of working through them. The retreat will focus on such healing tools as yogic breathing, movement, simple ritual, creative imagination, sound, meditation, and skillful attitudes for dealing with inner conflict. The retreat features daily yoga classes, a focus on positive dietary changes and information about detoxing cosmetics.

Robles and Shakin will also provide take home recipes for green smoothies and other healthy treats, and help participants to develop plans for integrating the tools they learn over the weekend. “We also want people to step out of their stressful lives and find tranquility in the beauty of the Catskills,” says Robles. “The Won Dharma Center is a natural setting for contemplation, renewal, and healing, surrounded by wooded foothills and streams that are a pleasure to explore.”
