Shamanic Intensive Begins September 8, 2012 in Beacon, NY with Eileen O’Hare

ImageEileen O’Hare will lead a 16-month intensive based in the bundled mesa tradition of Peruvian shamanism. Mesayok Medicine Spiral training will be held in Beacon, NY, the second Saturday of each month beginning September 8.  “This intensive is about the deep healing of ourselves, our ancestors and the planet,” O’Hare says. “If you have received the Munay Ki rites, Spiral is a beautiful way to deepen your experience of this powerful shamanic tradition.”

Spiral creates “a safe and sacred environment” in which to do deep spiritual healing, she says. A yahoo e-mail group keeps members connected and supported during the weeks between gatherings and after Spiral ends; spiritual work is also enhanced by various gatherings during the month. “The intention is to create and sustain spiritual community,” O’Hare says.

Along with musician Cat Guthrie, O’Hare also facilitates sacred chanting via the group BlisSing. “We meet several times a month as part of the spiritual practice of connecting with Spirit using sacred sound,” she says. (For info, visit BlisSingChant.com.)

O’Hare also leads The Women’s Chanting Group that meets every Monday night at The Healing House in Beacon. The group is chanting for compassion, mercy and forgiveness via Mother Mary this year.  Women of all faiths are welcome.

A legacy carrier in the lineage of Don Manuel Quispe and Don Benito Q’oriwaman, O’Hare has a private healing practice in Beacon. She is available for one-on-one teaching or to travel to communities for group teaching. For more information or to register for Spiral, call 845.831.5790 or e-mail xoeolovemore@gmail.com.
